Richard is the Director of Richard Parrish Ministries, an outreach of Music Serving the Word (MSW). Richard attends to the soul care of pastors, leaders, and learners.

Familiar with adversity and challenges, Richard’s strength and resilience is a result of HOPE discovered through submission to God’s purpose, and a deep confidence that God is active and present in all areas of life.

Richard is an ordained minister and speaks in numerous cross-denominational settings. A seasoned, empowering and compassionate leader, he devotes his life to assisting others discover HOPE through writing, speaking, mentoring, and offering spiritual care to pastors and ministry leaders.

Richard is currently spearheading a number of projects globally, such as assisting local churches, teaching and equipping pastors, helping refugees, providing wells and water systems, and writing curricula to train and prepare teachers and leaders around the world. Your support of RPM makes a huge impact in people’s lives by strengthening existing churches, helping them spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who live in darkness.

Richard lives in sunny Glendale, Arizona with his wife, Vicki. He’s always up for a round of golf, and enjoys a hot cup of coffee to keep him caffeinated for the benefit of others!

Director

A seasoned and experienced leader, Richard now devotes himself to caring for the souls of others. You will frequently hear him remind others: Caring for their souls isn’t selfish. It’s essential! Familiar with adversity and challenges, his strength and resilience result from HOPE discovered through submission to God’s purpose, and a deep confidence that God is active and present in all areas of our lives—in good times and not so good times. Richard is the Director of RPM (Richard Parrish Ministries), overseeing the ministry’s outreaches locally and globally. He attends to RPM’s mission through writing, speaking, and mentoring. His compassionate heart and authenticity resonate with people. One minister said: "Richard is a father figure, a pastor to pastors, and a 'shepherd to shepherds.'" Richard is a father and grandfather and lives in sunny Glendale, Arizona, with his wife Vicki and two adopted dogs (George and Gracie). He’s always up for a round of golf and enjoys a hot cup of coffee. He’s quick to tell others that the coffee keeps him caffeinated for their benefit.

Keishla combines her passion for serving others with her profound faith to fulfill her calling in God's work. Beyond her role, she is a nurturing mother of three, embodying compassion and strength both at home and in her community outreach efforts. Keishla's commitment to making a positive impact resonates through her tireless efforts to uplift and support those around her, reflecting a life deeply rooted in faith, service, and love. With her keen eye for detail, Keishla has played a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the ministry's operations, ensuring that every endeavor is carried out with excellence and purpose.

Outside of her professional life, Keishla finds joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it's relaxing at the beach, diving into a good book, or cherishing precious moments with her beloved family.

Larissa Johnson

Director of Media

Larissa has been a part of Richard Parrish Ministries for many years, bringing her media expertise to help tell the stories. She is originally from Ohio but over the years has lived in many other wonderful places as well. She is the proud mama of her amazing daughter, Marley. She loves being her mom and they are always out exploring together! Larissa strives to live in such a way that empowers everyone around her. Disneyland is her home away from home and she is there as often as she can be. She has a passion for the work she does in Iringa, Tanzania and loves to visit often. She enjoys college football, specifically her Ohio State Buckeyes! If it has to do with Star Wars, Pirates, Marvel or Disney it is a safe bet with her.

Pastor Richard had a great influence in my life. He served me as a father. As Paul fathered Timothy, I would say that Richard's ministry in my life is similar to the picture of the relationship between the Apostle Paul and Timothy.
